Put on the Glasses

The last couple of days it has been so nice out that Brian and I have opened the windows. Fresh air feels really good in our cave of an apartment. Livia also likes it a lot. She can now sit on the windowsill and watch the backyard.

This is the usual progression of how Brian plays with Livia. First, petting her nicely: Then she inevitably turns on him: Then he turns on her and picks her up to prove he is stronger then her: Then Livia proves she is the superior fighter and she makes him let go (she is a blur of fury): And Brian has no cat: The end.

Since we moved the big bookshelf into the "office area" of the apartment, Livia has discovered that she likes sleeping on top of it. It is one of the places where we leave her alone. She just looks so darn cute up there that I don't like to disturb her.

Things Done in Last Week: Had interview with another staffing agency that went really well Applied for a ton of jobs Watched Season 1 of 30 Rock and am wondering why I had not watched it earlier. Went with Brian to Elote for dinner and had enchiladas, fried artichokes hearts and sangria. Yummy. Narrowed down my wedding dress choice to 3 contenders. I think I know what one I want but I can't be rash in this situation. Reorganized all of my important papers, like bills and contracts, into one central file system that I made out of a cardboard box. Played with Livia a lot. Created an annotated list of things I want on my wedding registry. I read Neil Gaiman's Stardust in less than 48 hours. Watched a very thrilling Superbowl game where we rooted for whatever team was behind because we did not care either way. Drank too much at Barcade on Saturday night. Too much being a couple of drinks but on empty stomachs. Oops. We had a good time though; we had a whole table to ourselves...
